How to Wear StairStrap
10 seconds to the right fit
- Find your kneecap. Sit with your leg bent slightly.
- Place the pad two finger-widths below it, right on the soft spot between the bottom of the kneecap and the top of your shin.
- Wrap and fasten. Snug, like a firm handshake. Not tight enough to tingle.
- Stand and take a few steps. If it slides down, it's too loose or too low. Re-fasten a little firmer and a little higher.
Tips
- Wear it over leggings or directly on skin, under jeans or capris.
- If you feel tingling, numbness or soreness on your shin, it's too tight. Loosen it.
- Take it off when sitting for a long time. It does its job when you're moving: stairs, walking, getting up.
- Hand wash in cool water and air dry. Keep the closure clean of lint so it grips.
